In less than five minutes ChatGPT 5 built a web-based HIPPA compliant ED AI Triage that takes some basic information and yields probable treatments required and an ESI level. This is a great tool in the hands of a veteran triage RN, NP and Physician. And probably more valuable to a non-ER clinician trying to determine what the appropriate next step for their patient is. This includes a note with details that can be communicated from ambulance or clinic to the ER, and inpatient bed management.

Next steps would be bench-testing with real patient information against several patient's actual ER / Inpatient pathway and outcomes. And then iterative refinements, teaching Chat exactly what you need, adding functions and refinements, and working together to get the inputs, decision-rules, reports and recommendations output just right.
No excuses, no fancy consultants needed. No code programming needed at all.
